Homer, the character we all love so dearly, is the latest celebrity to declare his support for a presidential candidate. Tonight Fox will air a hilarious episode of Homer exercising his right to vote. His frustration increases when he tries to vote for Obama but he encounters a machine that counts his Obama vote for McCain. At the end of the clip Homer shouts, “This doesn’t happen in America, maybe Ohio, but not in America!”Well, let’s think for a minute, also maybe Florida but then again who’s counting.
This comes in great timing before tonight’s VP debate. We all need some laughter and a break from the Palin-mania.
What happened to the days when the elections were left for the people to make up their minds on who to vote for president? The elections are such a Hollywood spectale now. Now that Homer is endorsing, we are going to have a bunch of idiots voting for a particular candidate just because Homer Simpson said so. You damn well know we have those kinds of people voting. The media needs to remain unbaises and Hollywood needs to stay out of the elections, period!
